Refund Policy

1. The Seller
Fold is provided by Callum Spillett, a sole trader ("the Seller"). This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund on a paid Fold subscription.
2. 14-day refund window
You may request a full refund of your most recent payment for a Fold Plus or Fold Pro subscription within 14 days of that payment, whether it is your first purchase or a renewal, provided you have not materially breached our Terms of Service.
After the 14-day window, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.
3. Paddle handles refunds
All Fold subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for processing your payment and issuing any refund back to your original payment method.
4. How to request a refund
You can request a refund in either of two ways:
- Visit paddle.net, look up your order using the email address on the receipt Paddle sent you, and request a refund directly from Paddle.
- Or email us at support@foldtask.app with your order ID or the email used at checkout, and we will authorise the refund with Paddle on your behalf.
Refunds are typically processed by Paddle within 3–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. What happens after a refund
When a refund is issued, the corresponding subscription is cancelled and your workspace is downgraded to the Free plan. Any data or content that exceeds Free-plan limits remains stored but may become read-only until you either upgrade again or bring your workspace within the Free-plan limits.
6. Exceptions
- We may decline refunds where we have reasonable grounds to believe the request is fraudulent or is being made in bad faith (for example, repeated refund-and-repurchase cycles).
- Accounts terminated for breach of the Terms of Service are not eligible for a refund.
- Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
